Anne Caulfield from Interiors by Thalia was a true joy to work with. My husband and I needed someone to help us remodel & redecorate our living room and hallway area. There were several challenges, odd window placements, old popcorn ceilings, and an old unattractive built-in shelving area. Anne came up with a great design. The shelves were removed which increased the overall room size, ceilings scraped & hand-painted crown molding added. The fireplace mantle was faux painted, new tables, rug, Hunter Douglas silhouette shades with beautiful drapes then were added. New lighting fixtures with accent lighting along with a lovely shade of paint finished off the room. The colors are rich and warm, giving the room the exact vibe we were hoping to achieve. The workmen that Anne had in our home were so professional and did stellar work. We have been so happy with the result that we have now hired Anne to re-do our dining room That work will begin in April. I can't wait to see this new room in a few months!

My wife and I started to remodel a retirement home in Florida 6 months before we were going to move in. This was a long-distance job as we lived in Alexandria VA. I had selected a general contractor who did a great job but we needed a professional interior designer to pull it all together and to do that in our absence. Her selections were perfect and we choose to use all her selections and recommendations. We have lived in the house for 18 months now and every person who has been inside raves about how nice the house looks and how well everything is tied together from floor to ceiling. It is all due to Anne’s professional excellence!

My home has fifteen windows facing east on a twenty-foot tall by an almost twenty-foot wide wall. it was obvious that my furniture, walls, and oriental rugs would suffer greatly from the bright unfiltered sun and I had no idea how to shade them. Floor-to-ceiling draperies would not only have been prohibitively expensive but also so heavy that they would tear curtain rods from the walls. The representative from Interiors by Thalia came up with the perfect solution, Hunter Douglas cloth shades with motors so that the shades could be raised in afternoons and evenings after the sun was no longer shining into the room. The shades have been in place for twenty years now and I am thrilled with them. They are still in very good shape. I could not have been more pleased when dealing with the professionals in this Company, the work was completed quickly and done correctly the first time. They were always attentive to my needs and answered phone calls promptly. I highly recommend this company to anyone, whether needing a solution to a problem in a new home such as mine or wanting an updated décor.
